What a holiday! I thought our time at the Victoria Hotel at Christmas 2022/23 could not be bettered, but I was wrong. The hotel was quite unbelievable. In short everything was perfect. I was disappointed to hear that we were travelling with SAA and not Air Mauritius, vowed I would never travel with them again. However it was a perfect flight both ways and the lunch was delicious. Kudos to SAA.

Victoria surpassed itself once more. The renovated rooms were of the highest order and the cuisine, absolutely sensational. How on earth can the hotel prepare and serve three meals a day like it did? Not forgetting everything in between such as pancakes, iced coffee and the like 24/7. Remarkable. On Christmas Eve and Day the kitchens surpassed themselves! What a phenomenal spread! Far too much, but how can one possibly ignore anything!

Please convey our grateful thanks to the catering manager and staff. Our younger grandson who is now 3 refers to the Victoria as his 'Holiday Home'!

We had an amazing holiday! Everything was amazing. My family and I enjoyed every moment. It was worth every cent. Thank you for ensuring that we got value for our money. The Canonnier hotel is beautiful, friendly staff, delicious food, and great vibes. A special shout out to the Sous Chef Kawol, who went beyond and above, voluntarily, to assist me as an amputee, with dishing up my meals etc. It made my stay even more special. Thank you once more, I am sure, we'll call again.

We LOVED our holiday at Victoria! With the help of our agent, we booked the restaurants in advance, as it was very busy and our friends that were there couldn't get a booking at the seafood restaurants until their last night. We were lucky enough to go to the seafood restaurant twice and Italian once. The buffet was also very nice! The boys enjoyed the 4pm pancakes every afternoon.

We took our snorkels with for the kids and that was such a good decision as they enjoyed snorkeling off the beach every day. We took a boat out the one day and went swimming with dolphins and turtles which was amazing.

We also did a day trip out to Grand Baie and went for lunch at Canonnier. It was great to see another resort, and we were glad we chose to stay at Victoria as it really was the perfect place for our family .

The boys want to go back to Victoria again soon!

We had an amazing family holiday. Both Victoria and Trou aux Biches resorts were just great and splitting our stay between the two hotels turned out very well and was conveniently done. The refurbished rooms at Victoria are really excellent, the seafood and Italian restaurants there superb and service outstanding. The beach at Trou aux Biches was stunning, the Italian and Asian restaurants as good as you could wish for anywhere. Needless to say, the all-inclusive package well worth it - a no brainer!

We had the most incredible holiday in Mauritius - it was perfect for our family. My teen children had the time of their lives, enjoying the water sports and many activities. They made great friends and memories for life! In the meantime, we got to lie on our lounges and relax - our biggest worry being what time to go for our meals.
The restaurants booked for our special celebrations were amazing, and the food overall was of a very high standard.
To be honest Victoria exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to go back - hopefully soon. We will never forget this special time.
